Pardon me while I chuckle a little at the decision of Jerry Angelo and Company drafting Benson as "The Future" of the franchise. (Wait, I have just fell in the floor, rolling around, laughing my ass off now) I have never been a Benson fan even while in college but his durability in the NFL has been terrible. Coming out of college that is what he was known for was his durability and power running style. Please wait as I chuckle one last time for the fact that they got rid of TJ in the offseason, I know, it was a money thing but I believe I would have paid TJ his money and took the cap hit from getting rid of Benson because I still think they would have come out on the better end of the deal. Benson will never amount to squat in the NFL, just another Ricky Williams type that will wash away with time. I bet Angelo and Company are now wanting to kick themselves in the ass with that smart business decision.
